Angela Sun

Angela Sun is an American journalist television presenter sportscaster and documentary film maker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winner journalist, sportscaster, and producer. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communications from the University of California. Sun was a great surfer, and was a participant in numerous pro-am surfing competitions. It led to her receive sponsorship from major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans, etc. It was the recognition that she earned from her participation in these events that led her into the realm of entertainment. Then, she went on to become a film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun was employed by several channels, primarily as anchor. Since 2003, she has worked as an Fox Sports Net reporter. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. In 2014, Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute. Sun is the first Asian-American personality to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun's acting abilities have gained her the attention of her peers. Sun has appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary that focused on the impact of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
