Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its debut season, and became America's Sweetheart. It brought her to fame and earned her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums. Three of which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly did not make it to the top. She's one of the most successful artists to have sprung from the American Idol series. The singer began to play around with themes and music after her fame increased. Due to her uniqueness and skill as a singer, she was praised by critics and won a few notable award. She has also received the Grammy Award a record three times. Alongside her music career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. She has also written the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
