The actress was born in Australia and was her daughter Cezary Skubiszewski who is a Polish Australian composer who is known for his television, film and orchestra work. Her family, who grew in the countryside, moved to Melbourne later. Following her graduation from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, Australia She was a regular on a variety of television shows, including 'Marshall Law' and The Strip. Her most renowned work is that of the TV series Spartacus Blood and Sand that premiered in Jan 2010. This TV series was in reference to a historical character named Spartacus a Thracian Thracian who led a massive slave uprising during the Roman Republic. Her popularity grew following the series' broadcast worldwide. In her private life, she got married to Antonio Beliveau who is a musician.
